I've tried to include at least one item from every category, from tops to shoes and accessories, therefore you have a wide variety of shops to chose from for what ever it is you're after. Also, if you have a favourite brand in particular, then you can scroll down and see what I've picked.
After browsing through all the new items of clothing this May, certain trends have become apparent to me. Firstly, the design element of broderie anglaise is featuring on dresses, tops and shorts heavily. It's such a classic and expensive looking trend, that seems to make a comeback year after year, making the items staples in my opinion. Silk and satin dresses are also big this year, although not the most flattering of materials, the outcome can be spectacular. Finally, 90s inspired sandals are already huge! The square toe paired with a kitten heel and barely there straps are the perfect added touch to a summer outfit. They're easy to walk in and the small heel makes you look way more put together. River Island
I've always loved River Island since the age of 15! I just love the quality of their clothes, and I appreciate that they offer fast fashion options as well as classic pieces also. The standout items from their 'New In' section are definitely the wide variety of dresses on offer, from bodycon, to floral and flowy, to occasion-wear. |

Topshop has also been a constant favourite of mine throughout the years. I love to get my basics from Topshop, as they're great quality and are always priced really reasonably, which is why I picked out the striped vest and orange t-shirt. Urban Outfitters
I don't tend to shop in Urban Outfitters due to the sometimes extreme, and unreasonable, price tags. However, I have found some beautiful own branded and miscellaneous branded items, my favourites include the split hem, bodycon midi dress, and the mini pattered dress. Both can be worn throughout the summertime, and can be worn casually during the day, or dressed up with accessories and heels for the evening. |

Zara, for me, is such a hit and miss kind of shop, and the website is even worse. I can never navigate round the messy, chaotic stores, and find the website just as disorderly.
